Pursuing your Passion with Patience

Pursuing your Passion with Patience

Redbull, Rockstar, super charged coffee, and a package of honey buns. These were our travel essentials as we hit the road and headed to Lompoc with our destination being RVRND boutique. We wanted to work with Daniel, RVRND storeowner, because of his story and his passion for success. He started his company with just $5,000 and a dream to make high quality clothing. He's steadily grew his company from an online only business to his very own brick and mortar location. As we setup Daniel begins to share his future goals of opening additional stores and new design ideas for his brand. As he speaks I can see the fire and excitement in his eyes and it reminded me of myself.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, running a small business is hard work but when your filled with passion it fuels you. Most nights you're working into the wee hours of the morning while everyone is sleeping. Other times you're staying in on a Saturday night to work while your friends are out relaxing having a good time. When you have that dream living inside of you then you want to see it come to fruition. You want to live in that reality but for me it will take more than hard work. For me, it has been about trust and patience. Trusting God that in his perfect timing all the proper doors will open. Of course, human nature kicks in and impatience became a driving force. I have thought, "If I work hard then I can make it happen." And over the years I have made my fair share of mistakes because I was rushing or forced something that was just not the right timing. The outcomes were always disappointing but they all lead back to that same word; patience. Patience is easier said than done and it is something I am still working on.

I began to pray about what the road for Noble would look like. Would we solely be an online only brand? Would we ever venture into retail?  If so, when? Would we partner with this Investor? Would we sponsor this artist? As a business owner there are so many business decisions that need to be made daily. But I know that If I trust In God and let him lead us then we will succeed.

We are very proud to have our watches inside of RVRND, as it marks our 5th retail location. If you are in Lompoc be sure to stop by RVRND. As we look to the future we know there are great things on the horizon. Until next time, keep pursuing your passion with patience.

Sincerely,

Westley Noble Founder | CEO
